Birds




















Parakeet:

They eat:
1) Birdseed.
2) Millet (four types: yellow, green, black, red).
3) Oats.
4) Niger.


Some Curiosities:

1 - Origin:
Although they are already considered practically Brazilian, parakeets originate from Australia. There they are simply "normal birds" found everywhere.

2 - Exuberant Color:
Interestingly, the color of the "original" of parakeets found in nature is the green. The other colors we know are mutations that have occurred after the captive creations.

3 - Bath Cockatiel:
Parakeets are very fond of bathing, especially in the summer, so can not miss in the cage a bath with clean water. And not need to spend much money, after a capful of mayonnaise jar is enough!

They eat:

They eat birdseed, millet, fruit (not all), bread crumbs, quilhera, seeds, eat other kinds of things.

Curiosities:

1 - Lifecycle:
They have a life cycle of 3 to 5 years in cities and approximately 15 years wild means.

2 - Pigeons fly in what speed?
Pigeons can fly at a speed 80km / h.

3 - How many species have been domesticated?
There are about 250 species of birds around the world, but only 3 of them were domesticated.














                                 Kiwi:

What they eat:
Kiwis are omnivorous animals and eat a variety of plants and animals, especially worms, insects and spiders but also eats fruits and berries, usually those fallen on the forest floor.

Curiosities:

1 - The kiwi fruit:
The kiwi fruit is named in honor of this bird that is the symbol of New Zealand.
